Sinterklaas 2009

This was our first year celebrating the Dutch traditional holiday of Sinterklaas. Presents and delicious chocolate letters (the first initial of each persons name) are usually found in wooden shoes by the front door on December 6th. Rain boots made a great substitute (and they could hold more stuff). Much of the chocolate was gone by lunch time and the Lego blocks and toy Elmo phone were a big hit. With feet growing bigger all the time, will St. Nicklaas have enough to fill the boys shoes with next year?
